Developed specifically for babies
ProVen Baby Probiotic has been developed specifically for babies from newborn to around 3 years of age to help support the development of the microbiome. It contains the Lab4B group of four probiotic strains, which naturally form part of the infant’s developing microbiome bacteria population.
Lab4B contains two strains of Bifidobacteria and two strains of Lactobacillus for babies – Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifdobacterium animalis subsp. lactis, Lactobacillus salivarius and Lactobacillus paracasei.
The Lab4B friendly bacteria were used in the Swansea Baby Study of 454 mother and baby pairs carried out over five years and were shown to be completely safe from birth and to help prevent eczema and other allergies when taken during pregnancy and for the first six months of life.*

Suggested Use
As a dietary supplement using the scoop provided, add two level scoops per day to expressed breast milk or formula milk and shake well.
Do not add to hot milk.
Or apply the powder directly into the baby’s mouth by applying to a clean finger or nipple and letting the baby suck. Continue until two level scoopfuls have been consumed.

We have used this product for our son who has a number of allergies. It was recommended to us as a product that could be effective in helping to settle his quite poorly tummy after we excluded the relevant allergens. Unfortunately we have not seen evidence of any effect from using the product. This may be due to where we are on our allergy journey; however we won’t order more supply.
A bit tricky to give the powder to my exclusively breastfed baby as I don’t pump at all. I think I’ll try a liquid probiotic next time.

Unfortunately Proven Probiotics made my baby severely constipated and didn’t resolve until I got laxatives from the doctors. She seemed to have severe abdominal discomfort and ended up having a vasovagal episode due to her constipation.
Great ordering service and swift delivery. Product seems as stated. Only disadvantage is that the deep bottle and short measuring scoop make it difficult to reach the powder probiotic for babies. Especially when also trying to manage a baby too at feeding time. Please review the packaging for ease of access.

My baby never constipate any more
It is a good product, my little ones skin visibly improved when she started taking it. However it is really tricky to administer. The powder is placed in a bottle much larger than it is really necessary (the powder takes about a third of the bottle) and a scoop that comes with it is about a centimetre shorter than the bottle, how am I supposed to scoop the powder from the bottom of the bottle?! I end up shaking the powder onto a separate spoon just to be able to scoop the right amount with the tiny scoop provided in the box, this is a design flaw that made me consider alternatives.
Love the product… Sorted out my baby’s poor tummy, after I was on very strong antibiotics.
i would like to have someone to contact and solve my problem asap.
So far I’m happy with the probiotic itself but is extremely difficult to get it out of the bottles as it is just on the bottom. The spatula just does not reach the bottom of the bottle. You should think of repackaging.
